Build a menu with multiple Keynotes

Hi,

is it possible to have a kind of "parent" keynote that is functioning as a menu and when clicking on one item the behind lying Keynote will start and after it reaches its end it returns to the menu "parent".

In other words it should act like an table of content for a course but I like to have the option to jump to a specific course or skip certain courses depending on questions or time issues that I might have during a presentation.

Maybe this can somehow done with another app or so if it is not possible? Any hints or ideas?

Many thanks for any reply and guidance.

Cheers

As Keynote is prevented from opening other files or applications, using a script will not work.

When I present with more than one Keynote presentation, I use the most economic, easy and practical way which is to use the projector built in functions:

logo: this results in a built in logo from the projector appearing

freeze: a screen freeze of the last slide shown

blank or mute: a black screen

These days using interactivesoftware, linking to separate presentations is not common procedure with the ability to accesses a library of assets which can be changed instantly. These applications however are not cheap; $500.00 - $2,000.00 each or a licence fee of $500.00 - $1000,00 per year.

Traditional presentation applications that link to other filetypes:

Adobe Acrobat Pro, $200.00 per year

Powerpoint, single licence purchase $230

Open Office or Libra Office, are freeware.
