How do I turn off/cancel an iTunes subscription for HBO Now

If you are/will be charged via iTunes then you should be able to stop it auto-renewing by logging into your account either on your computer's iTunes or iOS device : Manage your auto-renewing subscriptions.

Thanks, King. I was able to cancel, based on your instruction. I find it a bit sleazy that Apple embeds the cancellation process in 16 layers of architecture. I thought they were supposed to be different from Microsoft😟.

I did this before my free one month trial ended. I just found myself charged with 1-month subscription today. I checked again and there is no indication in my account setting that the auto-renewal was turned back on.

What does it mean? I still keep HBO Now app and if by chance I clicked on it or used it to watch some short promotion clips, I would automatically sign up the subscription again (maybe on one month basis) without any consent form or acknowledgement?

I did find where to cancel the subscription; but it doesn't allow me. It's been three months;and this is so annoying!!! I lost $42, I did not even touch the HBO app!

You aren't getting the option to stop it renewing ? If not then try contacting iTunes Support and see if they can turn it off for you : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww

If you have an iPhone us the following instructions:

- Go to Settings

- Click on iTune & App Store

- Click on your Apple ID:

- Click on View Apple ID (you will have to put in your password)

- Under Subscriptions click on Manage

- Under Renewal Options change it from Auto Renewal to No.It will ask you to confirm and tell you your end date.
