My iPod nano gen 5 won't connect to itunes
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a nano gen 5 and it will no longer connect to itunes. All i get is : An iPod has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iPod and try again. If the problem persists uninstall itunes then reinstall itunes and try again.
Well i've done this, and nothing is any better, I followed the "More" link and tried various suggestions from Apple, everything is where it should be etc but it still won't connect. Is there a way to save it, or is it the end of the line of old faithful?

P.S It won't even charge off the PC, but it will connect and charge from the car so it's not the cable.
