iPhone Camera filters

So I recently got an iPhone 6 and I have been using it for taking pictures. Now I discovered you can apply filters to the photos before you click them, so i started doing that.Well i like to take pictures in black & white. So I applied that filter and whenever i open my camera app, that filter is always there which is a brilliant thing for me.

Now my problem is that when i transferred those pictures to my Laptop, they were all colored not black and white as i clicked them.

Can someone explain why did that happen? I mean I was able to see them as black and white when i clicked them and they were black & white in my phone but when I moved them to computer they were on in color?

I am confused by this, does anyone know whats going on here?
