Adobe creative cloud comprises of photoshop, Lightroom, Aftereffects and many more productivity Adobe apps. Basically Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom are the apps designed for photographers and 3D designers, Engineers. The photoshop CC (Creative cloud) and Lightroom will definitely run on the new Macbook, but it will not run that efficiently compared to a Macbook pro. Because, the intel Core M processor is not designed to run these graphic intensive applications smoothly.

I say it again the Adobe creative cloud apps will run and will suffice you with only the basic task but will definitely struggle and lag heavily if you intend to use Adobe creative clouds editing applications.

Also, the Intel HD 5300 GPU is a mediocre spec and won’t be able to render the 3D graphics that effectively on a retina display compared to a Macbook pro.

Hope this helps....
