rMBP 2015 Wake Reason: ARPT (Network)

I have the same problem with my late 2012 iMac. Currently it only takes it a couple of minutes to wake up after I put it to sleep.

A syslog | grep -i "Wake reason" just says

Wake reason: EHC1

[HID] [ATC] AppleDeviceManagementHIDEventService::processWakeReason Wake reason: Host (0x01)

Can't believe this hasn't been fixed during the last years. Really, really annoying.

I finally managed to get my Mac Pro to stop waking up after I unchecked the "Find My Mac" option under System Preferences >> iCloud.

Same problem here.

No Solutions works for me.

rMBR 15 wakes up every minute when lid is closed.

Massive Battery drain.

The Problem exist only in 5ghz wifi. Not in 2.4ghz.

I am having the same issue on Early 2015 rMBP. Wake reason as below:

This seemed to only start when i updated to El Capitan 10.11.5.

Around the same time however, I did change routers to Plusnet Technicolour Gateway TG582n (2.4Ghz) so not sure which caused the issue.

Anyone made any progress. Currently using switching off wi-fi as a workaround but frustrating given that my machine is only 8 months old and was not exactly cheap.

I'm having the same problem as well. Mid 2015 rMBP running 10.11.5.

Wakes up a hundred couple times during night.

I have an external monitor attached. So it flickers every time it is woken up. Really annoying.

Existence of this bug only in 5GHz net is not true...unfortunately.

Looks like that all 3 times - I tried to connect from the work to macbook at home. AND I CAN PING MY MACBOOK throughout the day by local ip address!!! (while it slept as you can see in the log file)

BUT: at the evening I see that the macbook does not want to sleep well. Very strange.

Same problem with my RMBP 15'' 2015 mid. And also I possibly found that all pf the laptop suffering the problem is the version of 2015. Still cant fix it by now.

My macbook 12" retina has hibernatemode 25 for testing, wi-fi still stays on

This completely seems to be NOKIA effect, I remember when we tried to explain to NOKIA support that IMAP client does not work in their OS, later I got know from backdoor that there was nobody who really understand the whole issue even at elementary level.

This bug makes my whole mac fleet userless and I am considering now changing to Windows, nothing to do, I need to open my macbook with dozens of tabs at every morning and this is possible in Windows.

I have this problem on a rMBP retina bought one month ago and replied for visibility of this thread.

Come on Apple, it has been going on for months now, its time to solve this very very annoying problem.

I suffer(ed?) the same problem and it seems that deactivating 5GHz WLAN Network at my router indeed solved the problem - no more waking up in the last days.

So while it might not be a 100 % solution, I think it is worth trying
