Longer bands? Extra links? 220mm wrist here :(

My wrist is 220mm, which is 5mm bigger than the biggest Apple band (the classic buckle). I tried on the Classic Buckle in the store, and it was pretty snug.

The sport band was impossibly tight and cut off circulation.

Anyone know of any 3rd party longer bands or extenders for any of the straps?

The only option I could think of is to buy two link bands and harvest extra links from the second band. But that's a $2000 solution! 😕

Hopefully, Apple will start to produce longer bands. I think it would be worth feeding back to them at the link below: several people have reported this problem, and the more feedback Apple gets, the more likely they are to respond.

Other than that, 3rd party bands will appear soon, I expect, and there's talk of an adapter that allows you to use any strap with the Watch

My experience with bands on my 42mm watch, 230mm wrist:

The Classic Buckle I have to do up on the last hole and it has no length in the band to create more holes. I order this but it wasn't comfortable so at the risk of embarrassing myself I went into store and asked to try on the a couple bands that reportedly only went up to 200mm.

I can get the Milanese Loop over my hand (just) and then it's plenty long enough for a 230mm wrist.

The large leather band does not have to fit over your wrist like a milanese loop and will fit a wrist larger than mine!

So try those on if you can!
