Can't share anything via Messages

the following is the Console log from one of many recent attempts to share anything (contacts, web pages, etc) using button that should push item to messages mini-window. Who can decipher the issue here?

Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Internet Accounts -> iCloud

Uncheck "Contacts"

Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Internet Accounts -> Google

Uncheck "Contacts"

etc

Open the contacts app; you should see no contacts listed (don't worry they haven't been deleted you're just not connected to the internet accounts that load them)

Now restart iMessage. It should start instantly.

Hi,

It has been known for some time that two methods of syncing your Contacts apps wooed not work.

I have personally seen the Contacts app with iCloud and "On My Mac" both active - which is not supposed to even happen if you Enable Syncing but causes the Contacts to show up as Telephone Numbers only in Messages on the Mac.

This seems to involve other accounts such as Google or Facebook or Yahoo as well as iCloud - which strangely can also be On together.

I have never used my Google account to hold any contacts of any sort as I originally had my Contacts in the Old Address Book "On My Mac" until iCloud came along.

It was not that clear they would be removed to the Cloud when I did and I would have to specifically save them back when when Unsyncing.

It does seem though that a natural thing would be to merge all contact Lists.
