drummer suddenly switches patches to bass or piano

I am having a problem with Drummer. It suddenly switches to a bass or piano sound. I have no clue as to why this happens. Sometimes it immediately happens and sometimes it takes a few minutes, but inevitably it will at some point switch whenever I do some tweaking with the controls.

It is as if it gets overloaded and then it abruptly turns into a bass sound. If anyone out there has an idea, I sure would appreciate your help.

I am running on a mac pro 8 cores with 26 gb of ram. Buffer settings make no difference.

Logic Pro X, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

Look in your key commands (type "next" into the search box) and find the one pictured.

Select it, and you will probably see something over in the Assignments area, select and delete that. If that doesn't do it, it could also be your typing keyboard, so select and delete the actual key command and see if that works.

Thanks for your response. I deleted that key command, but it did not solve the problem. I'm also getting frequent requests to download additional content. It's quite puzzling to say the least. Any other thoughts?

Sorry, since I just copy/pasted this from my other forum answer on this, I left part out. It is probable that your controller is sending errant control messages. To check this just disconnect any MIDI devices. Also, look at the key command window again, but this time look at the Assignment portion, check also similar key commands. Finally, you could go over to GS and follow Valis's advice on setting up a monitor to find out more, but I'll leave that up to him to explain.
