Multiple devices, 1 owner, how many Apple ids?

I Now own an iPhone 4s, iPhone 6, and IPad retina. 🙂


do I need to create a separate apple Id for each device so I can transfer/share select files/books/photos/movies tween them?

if so .... How do I delete the id on each device but keep th

Well, if you use both devices then you can keep using "one Apple ID." on both device. You do not need to share or transfer anything manually. If you sign in with same Apple ID, you can do share data between devices easily.


You can sign in to iCloud and merge on both devices.

Besides, I strongly recommend you to use automatic download. Go to settings > iTunes&App Store..sign in, too and enable automatic download.


If you want to have two different Apple ID, then you can try "family sharing." which is also nice to have it.

No, you should not. The whole point of iC;loud is to have one common source for your stuff, addresses, appointments, pictures etc should be the same on all devices. That way you can always have your stuff available to you whichever device you are using. To do that they all must be signed into the same account.
