I have a Macbook Pro 13", Late 2011. 16 GB RAM installed and running 10.10.3. The update to FCP X 10.2 is not available to be in the App Store updates?
Any advice, thoughts?

It is. When I click to install it returns a message indicating that "Final Cut Pro" is already installed on this computer. Then advises to check updates, but no update shows up.
MMove all copies of the application to the trash and try again.
I Have encountered this problem myself. Try disconnecting any storage devices. Go to Digital Rebellion's site and download FCS Remover. Run that app and try again to download.
