Connecting a multi instrument to a software instrument I get unwanted volume events in playback on ch 5
Is there anyone who can explain me why this happens? Maybe a bug?

I cannot reproduce here.
Perhaps you have something wrong in your template, or you have a keyboard transmitting MIDI CC7 on a channel.
Maybe you can turn off CC7/10 using Project Settings:MIDI:General Control Change 7/10 controls Volume/Pan
