I have an iphone 4s that was jailbroken and factory reset and it said plug up to itunes and i did and it said couldnt do the update what can i do?
you could try to put into recovery mode

BUT this is not unusual if your iPhone has been JB'd it may never recover .....ever
TThe jaibreak probably damaged your phone. Take it back to whomever jailbroke it.
