"SIM free" is not the same as unlocked. Where did you get the phone from ?

they said i can use any sim . unlocked they said
i know what u say sim free is that its working any sim u put in first.
Did you buy it with a carrier contract ? You say you have tried a "different" sim, so where did you get the one which was originally in the phone ?
ok.forget it!!! its just an iphone i broke and i buyed another one with no contract no nothing. i put first lyca sim then one from my country . and it didnt work. and they have told me that it will work
