METRONOME DOES NOT LINE UP WITH recorded tracks without metronome

Hi, please help.

I recorded MIDI tracks without following metronome, now I am having trouble to line them up with metronome. What do I need to do now to match with metronome. Please help.

Logic Pro X, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

How badly is the midi track off the metronome beat?

GarageBand has several tools, but they will only help, if you are not too much off the correct tempo:

  • You can enable "Quantize timing" in the Track Editor for your midi track. That will adjust the individual notes to the beats.
  • You can select a drum track or another rhythm track as the Groove Track - click the golden star in the Track header for the Track. Then your midi track will follow that rhythm.
  • User uploaded file
  • For notes that are badly off adjust them manually by dragging the notes in piano roll view in the Track editor.
