Ipod 4 turning on and off

Well my IPod Touch 4th Generation died just recently. It has had battery drainage issues in the past. Now whenever I try to plug it in it will go to the apple boot logo then it will go black then turn off then turn back on. My power button is broken and I have no idea what to do. If there is any way to fix it without using the power button and without restoring it. Thank You.
