iPad 2 does not rotate and the sleep button is non-responsive

Hello,

I have an iPad 2 which all of a sudden has the following symptoms:

- Screen does not rotate when turned (the orientation lock is off)

- Sleep/lock button in non-responsive.

I have updated the iPad today and am running iOS 8.3 (12F69). I have also restored the iPad. Problem still exists. With the sleep button not working, I cannot perform a reset.

I have found a similar question from "Bobfl1969" on November 9, 2012 at 5:54 which had gone unanswered. It appears he was experiencing the same issues but was running an older version of iOS (6).

Greetings Vincent0606,

After reviewing your post, it sounds like the Screen does not rotate and the lock button doesnt work. It looks like you have already done some troubleshooting. I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.
