Not charging

I know it's not the charger that's the problem, anyone know how to fix a lightning port?



I think it might need a good cleaning but not sure how to do that

If you can’t charge your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

- Try another cable. The cable for 5G iPod (lightning connector) seems to be more prone to failure than the older cable. Sounds like yo know your cable works

- If a 5G iPod

- Try another charging source. Maybe you tried this

- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic. Clean with soft brush and vacuum. Like toothbrush

- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
