But none of the second hands moves on my watch? They only move when you start the stop watch, maybe I am not doing something that activates this hand(the normal second hand)? Please answer me if you can as I will be very grateful.

Just as jmjordan said, The orange second hand is not a second hand. The second hand on a chronograph face is the lower of the two small dials on the face. The orange hand is a stop watch hand. the start button for this stop watch hand is at the top right of the face and has a small stop watch symbol.
Thanks - not knocking the chronograph function - which is great.
I think I had the expectation that the orange second hand acts as a proper second hand (in addition to the little seconds dial) until you go into stopwatch mode. At this point it reverts back to the 12 and acts as the stopwatch when the face changes from 12 hours to 60 seconds.
Given this is a digital watch, shouldn't be too hard to do this at a coding level and would look more aesthetically pleasing than having the orange hand stuck straight though the little dial above the centre of the face on a black watch.
Many thanks for all the reply's :-)
I am also facing same issue.
Yeah this is skeuomorphism gone wrong. I'd much prefer that either the hand move with the seconds or be removed altogether. Unless there is a way to get back to the watch face when the timer is running but I can't figure out how to do that.
This is common for all chronographs. The large second hand represents the stopwatch second hand. The clock second hand is the smaller bottom hand on the face.
Yes. I have this problem too. The other watch faces have moving seconds!!
Correct I agree, that hand is not to be used as the second hand. As chronograph it works great
