iTunes wont Connect to iTunes Store

Ok I have been trying to connect to the iTunes store through my iTunes. It tells me to check to make sure I have a network connection and try again. My internet is cable and is always connected. I also tried restarting my computer and still nothing. Is there something else that I need to do? Please let me know. Thanks

i'm having the same issue too...i can't figure out what's wrong, and i'm also having the URL issue too. what's going on with this 7.0 nonsense? everything was perfectly fine before the update. what's going on?

my itunes keeps going in and out. even when i get on, it's incredibly slow, i can't sample most of the music, and it's not downloading properly when i buy songs.

Okay everyone...I just got off the phone with Roadrunner aka Time/Warner. It is their problem. According to their tech support the 'migration' of their system has had 'issues'. They have no idea how long it will take to get fixed. I assume they will still be cashing our checks for service though!

They said to contact their Customer Service department to complain, but gave me a phone number that doesn't work. Meanwhile Apple is probably taking the heat for something that isn't their fault.

It probably isn't Apple's problem, most likely your ISP. See this information posted by another person earlier today. The servers in the routing system are often owned by a third party and leased to various ISP's.....

Traceroute shows no hop from so-14-0.hsa3.sanjose1.level3.net (4.68.114.154) in Colorado. Contacted Road Runner and their phones are off the hook. The guy from Road Runner was very knowledgeable and helpful, and referred me to Level 3, the company who owns the server that is freezing iTunes Store traffic.
