Frequent locations accessible through apps

Hi everyone,

can you please confirm whether data from "frequent locations" or location services can be used or are used by other than mobile user itself?

Meaning, are those data stored locally on particular device only or can they be accessed remotely by using third party apps, icloud account, etc.

As far I am aware, they can be accessed on device itself and PC that the device was synchronised with by accessing consolidated.db.

Location data is only available to an app if the user approves.

The app must request permission from the user before accessing location services.

Thank you. I understand.

Can a third party app get access also to already stored locations, like "frequent locations" data and not only to the pure function of location services?

I've seen a post elsewhere, claiming only core app (like apps) have that ability, but it was outdated and not confirmed source.
