10.2 Paste Attributes Color Ommission

10.2 won't allow copy paste attributes for "Color" - only color corrections - big difference. You can no longer apply Color Balance to a clip and then paste that exact balance to other clips.

Work around?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Sorry Tom, but incorrect.

I know exactly what bob is talking about, as I'm finding myself having this issue now too.

Before 10.2, I could balance on shot, and pass it along to the next, and it would always match in the uses I need. What are those uses? Say I have one shot, but 2 takes. And the actor is in a different position in take 2... balance color will (and is) giving me 2 different balances for these 2 shots, even though camera settings were identical. Another use - a panning/tracking shot. Before I could balance for one, and have it properly match for any other instance, as I do the color bit last. Now, i have to spend a lot more time getting it there, using match color, and a 3rd source for the frame to match, and that still varies.

It's definitely a useful feature and it has been lost.

I emphatically agree.

Loosing this functionality has caused me tremendous headaches on a reoccurring project -- and a lot of wasted time. Using multiple angles on a series of interviews, it was great to have coloring right where I wanted it. Each time I pull in a new clip from a given interview, a simple copy/paste for a particular angle gave me exactly the correct color corrections I needed. Now? Forget about it. I HATE losing this functionality -- especially since there's no apparent improvement in place.
