CleanMyMac 3 crashes Safari and Chrome.

Hi,

I have been a happy user of CleanMyMac 2 but since I upgraded to version 3 I (immediately) have had continuous crashes of Safari and Chrome (using system cleanup). MacPaw could not solve this and refunded me. However, the crashing continues. It completely freezes my MbPro 2011. Similar experience and/or advice what to do?

Mackeeper looks like it is gone, but CleanMymac 2 & 3 still seem to be running…

I could not use those since I already trashed the apps (should have used the uninstaller, did not know it as there). should i reinstall and the uninstall with the app itself?

I think you may have to reinstall since they don't explain how to remove by hand. There probably are other posts that go into the manual removal, but you can never be sure they are up to date.

See if it all disappears after using Macpaws removal method.
