does the apple warranty cover stolen items
My iPod recently well today May 5th, 2015, got stolen and I'm trying to figure out if the apple warranty covers my stolen product. I am only 5 months into the one year warranty.

Its a warranty, not insurance. Warranty covers manufacturing defects and other damage or flaw in the product that can be caused by or attributed to the manufacturing process.
Insurance policies cover theft.
You can look into your homeowners insurance policy if you have one, as it often covers theft, at least in the U.S.
Other than that, contact the police and file a report about the theft.
