kernel: IOHIDSystem: postEvent LLEventQueue overflow - OS X does not react for a few seconds

Since I exchanged my internal HDD w/ a 1 TB SSHD, I occasionally (2-3 times a day) get the problem that when I click anywhere, the mouse and the keyboard controls freeze on my MacBook Pro 2011 13''.

The screen behaves normally, everything is getting updated as it should - Twitter timeline moves, Little Snitch Firewall shows network activity, activity monitor dock icon changes - but if I click anything or press a key, nothing happens.

I can move the mouse, but the screen behaves as if I didn't (if I clicked a dock icon, the dock does not move at all as if the mouse was still at that position). That state stays for 1-2 minutes if I just wait, and resolves itself much quicker (10-20 seconds) if I repeatedly redo the click I did to trigger all of this - e.g. click the dock icon I clicked, or the tab in Safari, or the send-tweet-button in Tweetbot etc.

The corresponding message in the console is the following:

kernel[0]: IOHIDSystem: postEvent LLEventQueue overflow

I realize this obviously has something to do with the SSHD not working properly, but is there anything I can do besides reinstalling OS X which would take ages with my current internet or replacing the SSHD which would also take ages with my backup being on a USB 2.0 hard drive?

All software is on the newest available version (OS X is 10.10.3).

Same here.

That is the worst error I've ever met..

There is no clue why does it happen, when does it happen, and how to solve it.

I faced that issue when I installed the first El Cap. public beta.

And in Second public beta, I hoped Apple solved that problem, but it didn't be fixed.

So I gave up and backed to Yosemite, and boom, that happened in Yosemite, too. (What the..)

On Oct. 1st, I clean-installed official El Cap., and yes, I faced that issue, and guess what, I didn't install any app yet but it happened.

Now I'm thinking, is this a hardware issue or not.

Because it is hard to find same issue in my friends' Macs. They usually use similar apps with me because they are in same major with me.

That means their system environments are similar with me. But only I faced with this issue.

Maybe we have to check our SSD or Network antenna or graphic card or.... anything...

Someone who is facing with this issue should talk with Apple guys seriously I think.

I want to do that, but sadly, in my country there is no Genius Bar so I cannot talk with Apple guys.

Who can talk with Apple guys? Please appeal this issue seriously to them....

P.S. - I really wonder why Apple made this community system... I feel Apple guys don't see our posts. They just gave a empty web board to us and said, "Hey, share your problems each others freely. We won't touch you (and that means we won't help you). Just chat with other muggles. Ha.Ha.Ha!"

I've taken several screen shots showing the IOHID Error and what was happening before and after. Can anyone shed any light on it?? Someone mentioned about going to the Genius Bar and getting them to look at the error's, I've been doing this since April/May of this year with out any results. I've had most of the hardware replaced (track pad, RAM, Top case and logic board) and nothing fixed the issue. I've also just bough a brand new early 2015 MacBook Pro upgraded to El Captian and YES the error is also on this machine and the screen shots are from the 2015 MacBook Pro.

Well, I can just chime in, have no solution either. I have tried making another user account (problem still occurs), unclean install (dito), clean install + restoration with migration assistant (dito). Must be hardware-related or some kind of OS bug that only happens to a few people. Since reports of this issue are isolated, it is unlikely Apple can/will do anything about it.

I have found though that I regain control faster when dragging (as in click-while-moving) the mouse around. I use the 4-finger gesture (multitouch gestures funnily still work) to quickly view my desktop and then drag the mouse around on it until I see the selection box. If I don't do that, I have to wait a long time until I can do something again.
