Run diskutil cs list for status, before you switch to Windows.
It is still converting. Please wait till it is complete.
You also need to turn off FileVault, otherwise it will not work.
You have GRUB? Do you have rEFIt or rEFInd installed? If you are only running OS X and Windows, you can just use the regular Apple Bootmanager, which is sufficient. All these additional layers are invitation to more problems.
I don't even know what those are..
How can I check if i have any of those on?
And how to rid of them so I can boot in Windows again?
How did you get GRUB on your machine? Have you installed Linux or any other OSes other than Windows or OS X on this Mac?
I have used a third party software to re-partition the drives before, needed more space for the Windows side.
I have installed VMware and had another version of Windows installed on the virtual machine before, but VMware was uninstalled not too long ago.
Besides that, I don't have any other OS installed.
Hello Loner T,
can you come up with a solution for this?
Thank you very much.
What third-party software was used? Is it a Live CD with some Unix/Linux variant?
