Can't find file path ... in an open file.

I have some old files, I can't remember where they are. I found one through spotlight, but clicking "command" it won't show the file path. I can open the file, but can't get info or anything to find the file path. There are other files I need in with this one whereever it is located, but how do I find the file path of an open file. I don't know the icon as I opened it through spotlight, and spotlight won't show the file path for some reason.

If you can access in Pages then just export or save to a known location

So you can ope it in Pages, Under File go to Move To

that will give you a dialogue with where the file is, click the arrows and the dropdown will show its path.

What you found looks like an email message. There isn't a file path to an email message.

The the file may still be attached to the message or in the Mail Attachments folder. If it is in Mail Attachments, the Spotlight will only show it as an email message.
