Notification Center - Messages widget not working

Nothing happens when I click on the Messages icon in the Social widget section in the Notification Center.

When I click on the Twitter icon a text entry window appears under the row of icons, as expected.

Facebook... same thing.

But when I click on the Messages icon... nada.

The Messages app itself is working fine. I just can't send Messages from the Notification Center.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

After testing many different configuration it seems that the widget will work if I have any one of my three accounts account selected.

Once I select more than one account, regardless of which ones, it stops working.

That sounds like a bug. You can contact Apple by clicking the Support link at the top of this page, but you may be charged if you're not under AppleCare, and they may have nothing useful to tell you. Otherwise, you can drop a report into the black hole on the Apple Support Feedback page, or you can register for a free account on the Apple Developer site and file a formal bug report. That would at least tell you whether they already know about the issue.

I agree. Many thanks for all your help with this.

I'll file a formal bug report on the Apple Developer site. Any advice on the best way to do that or is it pretty straightforward?
