iPhone and Apple Watch BOTH Ring During Incoming Call

When I first started using my Apple Watch paired with my iPhone 6 Plus, all phone calls would forward to my Apple Watch (haptic and ring) when my iPhone was locked. Starting today, when a phone call comes through, it rings on BOTH my iPhone and my Watch. Does anyone know how to stop the ringing on my iPhone when paired with the Watch and having it only come through on the Watch when the iPhone is locked? I'm mirroring my iPhone calls in the Watch App. Thanks.

Did you try just turning down the volume or muting the iPhone? I really don't know the answer to this because I just got my Watch yesterday, but it's the obvious answer.

I noticed this too, and my iPhone was set on silent with the left side silent switch, but still rang along side my Watch. Not a good thing when I'm at work.

I have a very strong feeling that we are going to see a flurry of iOS updates very soon with all the Watches in peoples hands!

I certainly agree it's not a good thing when at work! There should be an option (I hope) in a future update to have the call passed to your watch without the iPhone ringing. Thanks.

Apple have now confirmed that the phone should not ring when the watch is on your arm. They advised me to unpair and pair again - which I did - and guess what, it didn't work!
