how to share screen between window laptop and Mac

Hello,


I am trying to use my iMac (late 2012)as external display for window laptop. I tried using the Thunderbolt cable ,VGA connecting to thunderbolt/Mini display.


Could some one help me on this.

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you want to use Target display mode with a Windows computer. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

What is Target Display Mode (TDM)?


TDM allows you to use a supported iMac as an external display for another Mac computer using Mini DisplayPort or ThunderBolt cables.
