iPad screen broken, invisible touching on screen

Hey guys,

I broke my iPad screen by accident a few days ago, now Im starting to get like ghost touching on the bottom of my iPad which is really annoying and I can barely use it, I dont have warranty or insurance, and I tried resetting my iPad, it didnt work. Would replacing the screen, FIX this issue?
