Bluetooth audio silent in BMW since Update to iOS 8.3

Hi,

yesterday I updated my iPhone 6 from iOS 8.2.x to iOS 8.3.

In my Car (2014 BMW 3 series F31) bluetooth connects fine and shows up song titles and play time etc., but the audio is completely silent, no matter what application I use to play (Music, Instacast, Spotify). Using the telephone hands-free works fine, however.

This was all working well before performing the update.

When I realized it's broken, I tried to downgrade to the old 8.2 version, but that does not work because Apple does not sign 8.2 anymore.

Any Ideas

a) how I could fix my audio or

b) How I could at least get the old working version back again?

Reset iPhone but likely it needs a restore and as new ,test, if it works and then restore backup

If that takes you back to square one then there is a corruption in your backup

Well that's really bizarre. The complete reset to factory (as new iphone) solved the problem. When using the backup it doesn't work.

So let's configure everything again (But at least it's working again :-) )

I had exactly the same problem with my Hyundai i40 after downloading ios8.3 on my iPhone 6, I tried setting my phone up as a new phone and resetting all settings and now Bluetooth won't pair up at all. Any solutions cause this is a real pain in the ***......

I had exactly the same problem with my Hyundai i40 after downloading ios8.3 on my iPhone 6, I tried setting my phone up as a new phone and resetting all settings and now Bluetooth won't pair up at all. Any solutions cause this is a real pain in the ***......

You can only restore again ,as new

Then test to see if the B/T is working ,if not could be hardware if it does then it is some corruption in your backup

When you change the iOS and have issues you also have to remove all pairings from Vehicle and the iPhone pairing and start again
