my Iphone5S does not connect via bluetooth with my new MacBook 12" retina ?
MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2015), Mac OS X (10.0.x), and iphone 5S OS8.3
If you're trying to pair it, stop. There is no reason to do that. Continuity features just require that Bluetooth is activated on all devices.
thanks for your response. But how do I know it it is bluetooth connected? the idea is to sink a calendar and contacts, few documents as well and I was wondering if I did not have wifi, I could use that option. not sure for the same reason I can use the personal hotspot but it is another uncertainty.

You cannot use Bluetooth to do what you are looking for.
