I want to delete all the photos in the new Photos App on my iPhone 6 plus. They're backed up and I need space on my phone. Is there not any way to select all or delete all directly from my phone? Do I have to manually delete each photo if I don't connect to my laptop?
There is an easier way:
-Open Photos
-Tap "Photos" (Moments)
-Tap "Select"
-Notice how they are all in groups based on when you took them. Find the group you want to delete and tap the smaller "Select" button right under "Cancel". It will select all the photos in that group.

Thanks for the assistance. The Photos app and interface is much less intuitive than the old iPhotos. I really hate having to search for a feature that should be obvious, accessible and plainly labeled.

This is so painful, taken photos almost every day, now couldn't select each day's photos, as there are more than 365 days of 1890 photos......
