Call History showing up on another iPhone

Clearly it would be better for me if I ignored your advice, so I will. (bearing in mind that you are NOT the only person posting here, many of which do have the problem)

No one here can do ANYTHING to "solve the issue".

A. This is a USER forum. You are not talking to Apple.

B. There is NOTHING to "solve". It's working as designed. If you can't bring yourself to use it the way it was intended to be used, that's your problem.

I tried turning iCloud Drive off yesterday and it appears to work so far.

The calls prior to the change are still listed but new call logs are not being added to the list.

I tried every way possible. I called apple and I called AT&T. With no help at all. I went to setting iCloud and the turn the iCloud Drive to off. Give it about 24hrs and works great. Do the same on all devices on the same iCloud accounts. You can turn it back on once you do a backup then turn back to off. Good luck. It worked for me if it worked for you let me know.

Yes, as has been repeatedly stated in this thread, the only way to completely resolve the issue is separate Apple IDs.

If you change the my info on all accounts with different contact names where each person should have their own

email address added to their contact list, you problem will cease. This has worked for me. I too had this problem

with 2 iPhone, on for work and one for personal. When I changed the myinfo to different email contacts the problem

ceased even though both phones use the same iCloud account

Setting-> Contacts->My Info->Groups-> choose or add your individual email account. Voila done!

Have you turned airdrop off? This was happening to my husband and I .we turned it off on each phone and then it all stopped !

I couldn't manage to get through the 123 pages of this thread, and I can't understand whether this advice is for people sharing Apple IDs between family members (which is actually not a good idea) or also for people like me having two iPhones (one for personal use, one for work).

I need iCloud to share contacts and agenda (and Find my iPhone, etc.) but I want neither personal calls to be listed in my work phone calls nor the other way around. Just because this is useless and makes one wonder why his colleagues did call him on his personal phone number…

The advice is primarily for people who are sharing an Apple ID with someone else who has a separate device. You're in a tougher situation. You can try turning of iCloud Drive on one or both devices. That might help.

You should be able to use two IDs and then Family Sharing between them to share what you want, and use Find My iPhone from either device to locate the other. Even iCloud Notes can be shared across IDs.

I disabled share my location and deleted the devices listed there and it seems to haves helped.

I do share my Apple ID with my wife so that we can use Find My iPhone in case one of us misplays our phone. Is there a better way of doing this ?
