Hi Turn your Router off for 30 Seconds When its back on Go to Settings Reset network settings on iPhone After Reset you need to enter your router wireless key If this doesn't work Reboot iPhone press & hold power button & menu button hold both down until you see Apple Logo . Cheers Brian
If you don't want to reset network settings and lose all WiFi connections, tap the blue i on the network you're having trouble with and select 'Forget This Network.'
Hi,
Thank you for the quick response, I worded it wrong. So it is not for networks that i know. I am walking down the street trying to get a text message and all of a sudden my iphone pulls up the local wifi networks. It is super annoying, just wondering if there is a way to disable that. Does that make sense? Thanks for all your help
Settings>WiFi>Ask to Join Networks. Turn it off.
Thank you Meg.
Glad it helped. That may take my prize for the most annoying setting on the phone.
