No internet connection after waking iPad Air 1 from sleep.

Hi all,

The internet connection frequently got lost after waking my iPad Air 1 from sleep. Though the iPad still show a wifi connection icon, but any attempt to pull data from the internet will fail. Only force shutdown and restart the iPad will restore the internet connection. This iPad is not even 2 years old.

I've tried to do a factory reset and restore data back from itune, I still have this problem. Not even an update to the latest iOS solves this. Any solution? Thank you.

Hi Turn Router off for 30 seconds When its back on go to website for your make of Router check for a Firmware update Cheers Brian

Sorry. Tried that doesn't work.

I have 2 iPad airs 1 in the house, but only this specific one has this problem. The other works fine. If it is router problem, both must be affected.

Hi

Go to settings

Reset network settings after reset enter your Router wireless key .

If you still have problems Restore ipad back to Factory Settings

Use same Apple ID set up over your WiFi .
