How do I link an existing Apple ID to a new Apple ID?

I need to create a new Apple ID but I dont want to have to buy everything again.

Hello hoff99,

If you have an Apple ID that goes out of date, (the email is old for example), it's better to rename the previous Apple ID rather than create a new Apple ID.

Change your Apple ID - Apple Support

Learn how to change the email address that you use as your Apple ID.

In most cases, your Apple ID is also the primary email address of your Apple ID account. You can change your Apple ID to any other email address you control, as long as it's not already in use as an Apple ID. If your email address ends with @icloud.com, @me.com, or @mac.com, it's already an Apple ID.

Follow the steps in that article to rename your Apple ID.

You can't link an old Apple ID to a new one to share the purchases.

Take care,

Nubz
