Rotate video in Photos for Mac

Anyone please advice how I rotate a video imported to the new Photos App?

I was going to edit it in iMovie and re-import it but can't locate the "photos" file. If unable to rotate direct from the app, can someone advice how to locate it to import into iMovie.

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2), Intel Core 2 Duo. 2.8 GHz

Rotate you video and it will show as you like in Photos

There is no way to rotate a video in Photos like you can rotate a photo. When you Control (right) - click on a photo you get these options in the contextual menu:

User uploaded file

However, when you Control (right) - click on a video you get these options:

User uploaded file

What version are you using?

I am using Version 1.5 (370.42.0); no such option in photo preferences.

Not in the general section or the icloud section.

I do FCP & Premier. would be nice to a have a very simple look of iPod video to quickly decide to delete the clip or send it on for exporting & editing.

rotate, portrait or landscape, works for still images...
