Rotate video in Photos for Mac

Anyone please advice how I rotate a video imported to the new Photos App?

I was going to edit it in iMovie and re-import it but can't locate the "photos" file. If unable to rotate direct from the app, can someone advice how to locate it to import into iMovie.

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2), Intel Core 2 Duo. 2.8 GHz

Even better, simply open the original file in QT7 (find it in the Photos Library package) and modify it as you indicated (Command-J, visual settings, rotate, and save). The rotation should show up nearly immediately in the Photos app. No exporting, duplicating, deleting, reimporting necessary.

You really have to wonder how this got left out. Seven year old QTpro does it instantaneously using TWENTY FIVE year old code. Obviously the photos app COULD rotate videos all by itself if Apple wanted it to. Perhaps someone should mention the idea: Feedback - Photos - Apple
