My Mac Mini is Very Slow

My Mac Mini is very slow and hangs a lot. I have tried every way I can think of to get to the root of the problem: using Onyx to clear buffers, restarting in safe mode, using Disk Utility to verify/repair drives, resetting PRAM, removing excess items from the desktop and so on. However, do y know what app is associated with:   [loaded]    info.lokiware.attachmenttamer.securetool.plist [Click for support]I am not familiar with itTry disconnecting all unnecessary peripherals.When you get a hang report back what you were doing when it occurred and not the time. When yo clear the hang, open the Console app in Finer&gt;Applications&gt;Utilities and look for log entries at that time. Post suspicious ones here.

Back up all data before proceeding.Launch the Font Book application and validate all fonts. You must select the fonts in order to validate them. See the built-in help and this support article for instructions. If Font Book finds any issues, resolve them.Start up in safe mode to rebuild the font caches. Restart as usual and test.Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t start in safe mode. In that case, ask for instructions.If you still have problems, then from the Font Book menu bar, select          File ▹ Restore Standard Fonts...You&#x27;ll be prompted to confirm, and then to enter your administrator login password.Also note that if you deactivate or remove any built-in fonts, for instance by using a third-party font manager, the system may become unstable.

Thank you. After following your advice, my Mac Mini has run much much faster for the past 24 hours. It still hangs occasionally for about a minute or so when I paste text into Microsoft Word 2011, but I can live with that. Again, thank you. --John
