bangla MN - a free font?

BanglaNM was included with OS 10.6, but I have it on a clean Yosemite install too.

so if you bought or upgraded either your mac or just the OS you should be licensed to use it in commercial work provided you're using the version that came with that OS, meaning if you had a True Type that came with the OS and you downloaded a Open Type from a free site that said you can't use it for commercial work you would need to use the True Type for commercial work since technically they're not the same fonts.

Bangla MN is really only intended for use with the Bangla language. If you are thinking of using it for English, I would recommend you find something else.
