I'm having a hard time installing mountain lion

I'm having a hard time re-installing mountain lion, it says 20hours and 18minutes remaining and it keeps on increasing.

whats the problem? is it my connection? or what.

can I go to apple center?

Apple center? If you mean the Apple store, yes. First try letting it run overnight. Estimated installation time are occasionally very inaccurate.
