I just bought a new ipad mini 3 , and havent been able to download any apps on the ipad itself even though there hasnt been any space used. Upon trying to download new apps , my ipad exhibits Cannot Download; there is not enough available storage .

My ipad model is a1599 , ipad mini 3 , 11.7 GB, 8.1 (12B410) version, serial number F4KNR6RLG5V2. I just got a hold of this ipad a few weeks ago and I haven't been able to download any apps; even though I haven't used up any space. Upon trying to download apps, my ipad exhibits "Cannot Download" and there is not enough available storage to download. What am I supposed to do?

Did you buy this iPad brand new or second hand? Have you synced with iTunes at all? It is possible that something could have corrupted your iPad and it could be full of "other" data and that might be why you getting the storage full message.
