I have an Ipad 2 with an external GPS for Ipad (GNS...) It worked perfectly well for two years until I updated to IOS 8.3 Since this moment the ipad connects via bluetooth with the GPS but no position is shown in the chart.
Apple support doesn´t bring me any solution.
I use it with the Boating and Navigation program for sailing.(Navionics)

If you search the forum, there seems to be a problem with iOS 8.3 and external GPS devices. It appears Apple is aware of the problem and is reportedly working on it. You may find some other troubleshooting info in one of the other threads here.

Try updating the firmware for the gps.
Use a cable for gps.

I have read that OS8.4 will not solve the bluetooth issue. When will they release OS9?
It will be released when it's deemed ready for release...no sooner, no later.
It was in the release notes for Beta 2 (this is not an NDA violation, it was widely publicized).
