Hello all!
So my MacBook Pro Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014 has no bass anymore. It suddenly happened while listening to a song and didn't come back ever since. Does anyone know where the subwoofer is in my MacBook? Are there two? Or what else could be the problem?
I've tried:
audio/midi setup
Speaker balance
No EQ active!
Headphones working well (with bass)
Any idea?

The MacBook doesn't have a subwoofer, just two very small speakers.
However, I have seen other posts where the Apple Store tech was able to find a solution. It is possible there is a loose connection to the speakers. Have you had a local Apple Store look at the laptop?
Oh really? That's strange. No i haven't tried that. I thought i'll need the MacBook so i can´t afford to give it away for some days or weeks.

According to the posts at -> MacBook Pro :: Subwoofer Missing - Sound With No Bass, the problem seems to have been fixed in a single visit.
I searched Google with the terms "macbook audio no bass."
There is third party software that enhances low frequency sounds:
