Is there any evidence that metal iPhone cases interfere with incoming call reception?
Not that I know of recently other than the iPhone 4s "antenna gate" that it was dubbed.

I started having incoming calls diverted directly to voicemail, without the phone ever ringing, after putting a metal case on the phone. I'm putting my old plastic one back on to see if that was the problem. I do remember my 4S having problems with the map program while "wearing" a metal case!

I began using an aluminum case on my iPhone 6 and my cellular reception was notably degraded. I had to return the case because the phone was almost unusable for Maps and other situations where I needed cellular data.
