Decreasing for size of library tree

Is this possible. Want to put questions we ask contributes as keyword collections but it is only possible to have library tree so wide. Can see any reason why apple made the current max width of the library so narrow and with this the lack of ability to change font sizes of the library windows is making things close to impossable. Real shame as there is a lot I like about FCPX;(. I am not even using the full questions, I am using extremely abbreviated versions. I can see this also making all but the most simple marker and favourite description not possible;(.
