How do I check an image's resolution on iOS 8's Photos?

Is it possible to check an image's resolution in the iOS Photo app? I've hunted for an answer and it seems that iPhotos may have had this functionality and I think I remember at some point it being possible to check easily on an iPad, but most solutions to this question are to purchase an additional photo editing app, which I deem bananas for something so simple. I've tried a file explorer and google drive just to see if the info is incidentally listed and it is not. Why Is this info so disregarded? Is there some bizarre amorphous formatting issue that prevents an easy answer to the size of my photos?

At first, I felt as if I lost the keys to my car, then I felt as if I had never had a car. Now I'm wondering if cars existed or if I could describe one or if there's some conspiracy to hide the existence of cars. Apple is making me paranoid that I don't understand techology anymore and Google searches plus a flood of redundant Apple enthusiast sites obfuscate any possible answer with propaganda articles on how iOS 8 will change the way we do photography.

Micro-question: How do I check an image's resolution on my iPad?

Macro-question: Are Apple's once elegant solutions being crushed by a zealous push towards oversimplification or a more brutish approach to user friendlines? And with broad product fanaticism as their fuel, can Apple have true self-awareness?

p.s. My iPad's keyboard continually autocorrected partial words and went into caps lock, I've never had a problem with it before, so I asaume Apple is self-aware and wants me to appear as a raging lunatic.
