how do i copy images from an SD card to a powerpoint?

I am trying to put images from an SD card into a powerpoint. The image is on my computer, but it will not let me copy and paste it. When I try to copy andpaste, it just pastes the image name 😟

MacBook Pro, iOS 8.3, Powerpoint
