How do I delete audio in Keynote 6.5?

Hi All,

I inserted a mp3 track in my keynote presentation. But I couldn't delete it now. Please help me here. Thanks

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

If you placed the file on a slide;

right click the file and select Cut

If you placed the file in; Inspector > Document > Audio > Soundtrack;

click the file once and press the delete or back space key

I tried that but didn't work. Now I restarted the application and it works fine.

such a simple solution and it took me sooo long to figure this out as there is no delete key on my keyboard nor will delete work from the edit menu...Thank you!
